The 2026 autumn auctions at Macho & Chlapovič promise to be exceptional once again. We are delighted to present two important numismatic collections, each with its own distinctive character, story and perspective on the history of coinage. Auction #39 – Jaroslav Kokolus Collection – will be dedicated to Kremnitz ducats, double ducats and thaler issues. Auction #40, alongside our traditional selection of historical coins, will feature an extensive First Czechoslovak Republic collection assembled by a Czech collector and preserved within the same family for three generations. Both floor auctions will take place on 23 October 2026.
Effective 1 July 2026, we are updating the opening hours of our branches in Bratislava and Prague. The jubilee IAPN Congress 2026 took place in Rome to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the International Association of Professional Numismatists.
