Pattern strikes have long been one of the most attractive highlights of our auctions, and they are also extremely popular and sought-after in collectors’ circles. Our 31st Auction will feature several exceptional pattern strikes dating back to the Slovak State, which have not been included in the offer of auction houses for many years. These pattern strikes were minted for the purpose of consideration by the Ministry of Finance during the development of the new currency system of the Slovak State, or when considering a change of material for the individual denominations due to the use of non-ferrous metals in the military industry.
