We have recently added the gold coins of Francis Joseph I to our e-shop offer of investment gold coins. The coins are minted by the Austrian mint Münze Österreich, one of the main producers of gold investment coins worldwide. Münze Österreich boasts a long history, tracing its roots back to the 12th century. The mint is renowned for its high quality coins and meticulous craftsmanship.
The coins of Francis Joseph I were minted during his reign as Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary and Bohemia, although he was never crowned separately as King of Bohemia. Coins with his depiction were also minted after his death, with the years on the coins remaining unchanged (e.g., 1915 on the Ducat and the 4 Ducat). Nowadays, they are minted as restrikes – Investment gold coins, which are very popular with investors. They are often regarded as some of the best investment coins that one can buy as they combine historical value with the value of gold. You can currently find them at our e-shop for the top price available!
