An evening where music meets collecting

The premises of the Macho & Chlapovič auction house in Prague were filled with a unique atmosphere. Collectors, clients, friends, and notable figures gathered for an event where numismatics, collecting, and music naturally came together.

The space resonated with the iconic sounds of the album Hurikán, bringing back one of the defining moments of Czechoslovak music history.

Dalibor Janda – musician, author, and collector

Dalibor Janda is one of the most prominent figures of the Czechoslovak music scene and the author of numerous original hits. Interestingly, his breakthrough came relatively later in life.

Alongside his music career, he has long been dedicated to collecting, which naturally led to his publishing work.

The evening also introduced the Catalogue of Silver and Gold Shooting Medals and Coins of the Austrian Monarchy, authored by Dalibor Janda.

The publication was developed over more than three years in collaboration with Jiřina Anna Jandová and provides a structured overview of this specific collecting field.

A concert within the auction house

The evening culminated in a live concert held directly within the auction house, transforming the space into an extraordinary cultural venue.

The beginning of a new chapter

This event marked the first gathering of this kind in the new Prague premises, symbolically celebrating not only the vinyl and catalogue but also the space itself.

Macho & Chlapovič confirms that it is not only an auction house, but also a strong and reliable base for collectors and investors.
