Panda Gold Bullion Coins

The Gold Panda bullion coin is issued by the China Mint, the state mint of the People's Republic of China, and each year attracts significant interest from both investors and collectors. The first Gold Panda coin was released in 1982, and since then, it has been issued annually, with a new design featured on the reverse side every year. This unique approach, where the panda design changes yearly, makes these coins especially appealing to collectors. However, there are exceptions, as some years share the same design, such as the years 2001 and 2002.

Panda coins are made from gold with a fineness of 0.999 (nearly pure gold). They are available in various weights, such as 3 g, 8 g, 15 g, and 30 g. This variety allows investors and collectors to choose coins that best fit their needs and budget.

Coin Design:

On one side of the coin, the iconic Temple of Heaven in Beijing, one of China's most famous landmarks, is traditionally depicted. The obverse side also includes the year of issue and Chinese characters.

On the reverse side, a panda is featured, with the design changing each year. This side also displays the face value, the weight according to the size of the coin, and the purity marked as "Au 999."
