Registration Is Required for Every Auction

To participate in MACHO NUMISMATIC GALLERIES auctions, you must register and verify your identity, regardless of how you choose to bid.

If you are bidding in person in the auction room, you can register and verify your identity on site.
If you wish to bid by telephone, through Live Bidding or by placing Pre-bids, registration and identity verification must be completed in advance.

Corporate Registration

If you intend to bid on behalf of a company or other legal entity, registration must be completed in advance, regardless of how you intend to bid.

You will be required to provide the relevant documents to verify the legal entity, the person authorised to act on its behalf and its ultimate beneficial owners.

Please contact us well in advance, at least 10 business days before the auction.

How to Register

Create an account
Register through the AUEX auction platform.
Enter your details
Provide the required personal and contact information.
Verify your identity
Complete the identity verification process through Stripe Identity.
Complete your registration
Once your registration and identity verification have been successfully completed, you can use your account to participate in our auctions.

Identity Verification

During registration, or later through your account, you will be asked to verify your identity using the secure online service Stripe Identity. You will need:

a valid national identity card or passport
a smartphone with a camera and internet connection

The process involves scanning your identity document and taking a photo (selfie) to confirm your identity. Verification usually takes only a few minutes.

Already Registered?

If you already have a verified account, you will need to accept the current Auction Terms and Conditions before each auction.

Bidding Limit

Each registered bidder is assigned an initial bidding limit of EUR 10,000.

We recommend submitting any request to increase your bidding limit well in advance of the auction.

If you intend to bid above your current limit, you may request an increase. Depending on the amount requested or your country of residence, we may ask you to provide additional information, proof of identity, references or financial security before approving a higher limit.
