    Note

    Count Imre Thököly de Késmárk was born in Kežmarok, Slovakia. His father Stephan Thököly who participated in the Magnate Conspiracy, died in 1670, when defeating Orava Castle against imperial troops. Imre Tököly uprising was encouraged by French king Louis XIV and later by Turks. His contemporaries called him the king of Slovakia. He participated the siege of Vienna in 1683 along with Turks.
